The Mustang GT3 keeps stacking victories. This time, it was the No. 64 Ford Multimatic Motorsports entry that crossed the yard of bricks first, earning a hard-fought win at the “Racing Capital of the World,” Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

In only its second Battle on the Bricks appearance, the Mustang GT3 proved it is built for the long haul. Drivers Mike Rockenfeller and Sebastian Priaulx worked their way from seventh on the GTD Pro grid to the front, climbing six positions over six hours of wheel-to-wheel racing. Their charge delivered the duo their second victory of the IMSA season and Ford Racing’s third IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship win of 2025.
Rockenfeller and Priaulx kept the No. 64 clean, stayed out of trouble, and led the final 25 laps on Indy’s road course layout. For Rockenfeller, it was redemption as he stepped one position higher after last season’s runner-up finish. For Priaulx, it was about making history: “To win here on the bricks is something special. There’s a lot of history at Indy, and this is a win I won’t forget.”

This victory adds to a growing Mustang GT3 résumé that now includes the Rolex 24 At Daytona, the streets of Detroit, and Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Since its debut in 2024, the Mustang GT3 has already collected 13 global victories, making it one of the most successful factory-backed GT3 programs on the grid.
Every lap, every podium, and every victory has been earned on the American Racing AR724. Developed hand-in-hand with Ford Performance, the AR724 is a forged 1-piece monoblock built from aerospace-grade 6061-T6 aluminum. With a staggered setup of 18x12.5" up front and 18x13" in the rear, it gives the Mustang the balance, traction, and durability demanded by endurance racing. Finished in a bespoke Gunmetal exclusive to the GT3 program, the AR724 is more than a race wheel. It is proof of American Racing’s role in carrying Mustang heritage forward while delivering uncompromising modern performance.

The weekend also carried deeper meaning. As part of the IMSA Resilient Racer program, the No. 64 team welcomed Jackson Daniels of Camp Boggy Creek as an honorary team member. For Rockenfeller, the experience put racing in perspective: “Sometimes qualifying does not go your way, but then you meet someone like Jackson. His strength was inspiring. He brought us luck today.”
A win at Indy confirms that the Mustang GT3 is more than a newcomer. It is a proven contender. For American Racing, it is further proof that our forged AR724 wheels are not just turning laps, they are turning victories.
